Le Kir Royal
Kir® Royal is a cocktail made from blackcurrant berries and Blanc de Blancs wine, which gives it a pronounced blackcurrant taste, a sweet and round mouth and a fine sparkliness. Kir® Royal is made using the traditional method of blackcurrant maceration invented in 1841 by LEJAY LAGOUTE: the blackcurrants are macerated in neutral alcohol at 70° to obtain the virgin blend which is then gently blended with a Blanc de Blancs wine. This subtle association gives it a pronounced blackcurrant taste, a sweet and round mouth as well as fine bubbles. The blackcurrant and the wine used are 100% French. No artificial colours or flavors are added. Kir® Royal can be enjoyed chilled, neat or in cocktails.
Le Kir® Royal On-Ice
Fill a large wine glass with ice cubes and add 12cl of Kir® Royal. Add a zest of lime.
